Arno Kamminga
THe breaststroke specialist

Already at a young age Arno began rescue swimming in his place of birth Katwijk aan Zee, Netherlands. At the age of  ten he changed to competitive swimming

Arno lives in Amsterdam and he is a member of swimclub de Dolfijn (the Dolphin) where he trains everyday at the Sloterpark pool, under supervision of Mark Faber. Arno fully focuses on his life as a professional swimmer: training, resting, sleeping and swimming.

An excellent physical foundation, built during the past few years by many hours of training, enables Arno to swim many competitions each season. Racing competitions, that is what makes Arno very happy. As Arno lost his mother already at the age of 15, he has learned even better to enjoy life in the moment. To deal with set-backs in a positive manner and self-consciously put all his energy in his sport.
